Rabbit
Although this film confused me the first time I watched it, I finally understood what the creator of the film was trying to portray: the power of greed. The two children wanted to capture the rabbit, but ended up getting the idol because they realized that it could magically transform objects. Run Wrake emphasizes the point that people will do anything to get what they want. The children killed the sheep in order to get the gems that they desired. Yet despite the fact that they had more than enough to sustain themselves, they wanted more. Run Wrake is successful in illustrating the influence that greed has- especially in today’s society. No matter how much one may have-whether it be success, money, love- we always want more. Pathos was used with the incorporation of the animals being slaughtered; and logos was used with the theme of materialism portrayed throughout the video.
