Rhetoric Surrounds Me

Children are screaming downstairs- for more music? I’m not sure.

There’s an anatomy book lying on the floor to my left, there to remind me of the impending assignments that I have not completed.

The TV is running, and the commercial for the “nation’s number one phone service, Verizon” is on.
